Our Team

The Hull PGP Steward is the School of Education at the University of Hull. We are drawing on the expertise and connections of our team to successfully deliver the intervention.

Core Team

Dr Isobel Ragan

Isobel is a lecturer in Education and Early Childhood at the University of Hull. Isobel is also the designated Forest School lead and coordinates the forest school provision and training for staff and students across the school. Isobel’s research interests are rooted in visual art and creative learning practices within the curriculum, with a focus on participative methodologies to evoke child voice and agency in research.


Dr Lee Fallin

Lee is a Lecturer in Education and is an RSA Fellow. He is a passionate advocate for outdoor learning and has experience in community-based research and engagement. He is a school governor with connections to some of the most disadvantaged children in our city.


Dr Jo Traunter

Jo is the Education Studies Academic Lead for Childhood, Family and Youth Studies in the School of Education. Jo’s expertise focuses on supporting young children’s learning through creating environments of inquiry, particularly creative and natural.
